Cher Wood
My name is Cher Wood, I am located in Ottawa, Ontario and have been an established dog trainer for over a decade. I hate to give the classic dog trainer speech, you know, the “ I grew up with dogs and fell in love”, but I don’t really see a way around that, because it is so deeply who I am. I had the honour of being born into this profession. I really couldn’t see my life going any other way, so I decided to become a Professional Dog Trainer. Today my life consists of 8 dogs, of all shapes and sizes, and an amazing husband and daughter. Oh, and let's not forget my love of all creatures, because I also own rabbits, guinea pigs and a cat! I hope you enjoy learning from my experiences and create the same amazing relationship I have with all my creatures.
Melissa De Decker
Melissa is a passionate pet care professional with over 10 years of experience in the dog boarding, dog training and daycare industry. Melissa not only operates a dog training company, but she is the founder of an incredible dog rescue called, Taffy's Legacy Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation. She empowers owners and educates dogs, amplifying the relationship between people and their pets. No dog is too challenging. Melissa trains dogs with ranging needs, from basic obedience to behaviour modification. She owns a boarding, daycare, grooming and training facility in Delhi, Ontario known as The Dog's Paw - Pet Retreat & Training. If she's not tending to her client's dogs or hanging out with her own dogs she can be found hanging with her chickens, ducks, turkeys or pot-bellied pig.
